Without a doubt, ponds add beauty, serenity and grace to your landscaping. A formal pond turns the every-day backyard into palatial grounds, and the driveway into the Grand Entrance. One could become motivated and dig into the ground, only to discover the clay layer lies a mere five inches down. One could spend thousands of dollars and countless hours pouring slabs and mortaring pieces only to have a crack develop after the first hard freeze or land tremor. Or one could choose Lucioni Arts' Modular Pond. Inspired by customers' stories of three-year pond projects, Marco designed his first Modular Pond nine years ago. The premise remains amazingly simple. Set side blocks, fold in liner, place top caps and viola! The 2000 edition includes lighter side blocks (We feel your pain!) and wider top rails to sit upon. The Puget Sound's Nisqually earthquake (Feb. 28, 2001, 6.8 magnitude) proved these ponds' durability. None of the ponds at the shop or at homes of customers contacted suffered any damage. Side blocks that shifted were tapped back into alignment using a rubber mallet. The Modular Pond can be configured in a 6' x 6' square or 4.5' x 6' rectangle, and grow in 18" increments. Priced at $45 per liner foot (6' x 6' = $1080) with 30 mil PVC liner included, the Modular Pond's value speaks for itself.
Some people refuse to be square no matter what. Therefore, Lucioni Arts offers a 7' round version of the "Modular" pond. (Okay, for all you detail-oriented folks, the round is not truly modular.) The principle remains the same. Set the side blocks, place the custom-welded reinforced PVC liner and place the top caps.
Lucioni Arts can customize its Modular Ponds for your situation.

also was custom-made to fit the pond.
Another custom pond by Lucioni Arts utilizes Egg & Dart pieces to from the surround. Massive and stunning!
Lucioni Arts supplies top quality liners with its Modular Ponds. Whether 30 mil EPDM rubber or reinforced, flexible PVC, the lining materials are guaranteed for 25 years against deterioration caused by normal use, available pond chemicals and UV rays. Pre-Y2K, we would emphasize the liners are accredited to store potable water. While the liners still hold potable water, the Y2K argument did not. We're checking if this water storage system is FEMA acceptable. Key Benefits of the Modular Ponds
