Lucioni Arts Countertops

Lucioni Arts casts its countertops to a standard 2" thickness with all reinforcement self-contained.  Typical mix design is seven sack/yard Portland cement, aggregate, sand and water-reducing admixture.  Reinforcement is achieved by adding polypropylene fiber, rebar or u-bar, and/or steel mesh.   Average weight is 23 lbs./sq. ft.

Lucioni Arts uses iron-oxide pigments integral to the concrete.  At customer's request, acid staining and multi-colored surface treatments are available.  Artistic additions such as metal, glass and natural stone available at request.

Lucioni Arts standard countertop edges are smoothly squared.  Rounded and molded profiles are available.  Please inquire.

Sinks can be cast in different shapes and sizes integral to the countertop.  Also, integral drain boards, butcher block recesses and trivets can be incorporated into your counters.  Please inquire for pricing.

You can fax or e-mail a drawing of your layout, with measurements, and we will be happy to give you a free estimate.

Concrete, also known as cast stone, is a natural product.  Surface variations are common and should be expected.  Small surface and corner imperfections will be filled with matching grout, and the entire surface lightly polished and treated with water-repellant sealer.  Hairline cracks in the surround of the sink or range area may develop during shipping and installation.  They will not effect the structural integrity of the countertop.  Final touch-up, surface sealing and buffing will be necessary after installation.
