Secret Garden Statuary/Lucioni Arts opened their doors in South Seattle mid-1995. For six years prior to that, Lucioni Arts occupied an old grocery store on Aurora Ave. N. in Seattle's Fremont area. Aside from being mistaken for the headstone company further north on Aurora Ave., the old location was noted for it's pithy reader board messages. (Second only to The Lusty Lady, a well-known dance club, according to Seattle Times' writer Jean Godden.) Due to redevelopment of the property, Marco moved south to lower overhead and larger space. He talked his wife, Janice Taylor, into giving up her management job to open the new retail store, christened Secret Garden Statuary. Today, Secret Garden Statuary/Lucioni Arts is located is South Seattle on the banks of the Duwamish River where you can see bald eagles, osprey and the occasional otter and sea lion. And the reader board can still be pithy. Lucioni Arts manufacturing facility houses Marco's custom-design studio. A fine artist in Italy and Greece, Marco has been creating art from concrete in the Seattle-area for over twenty years. Marco's work graces numerous public and private locations--fireplaces, concrete countertops, fountains, terrazzo tile and architectural precast. The Concrete Network recently honored Marco, deeming him THE man to see in the Northwest for concrete countertops. His experience in design and mold-making can translate your dream into reality. Please browse the "Custom Design" pages for examples of Marco's skill. You may see and touch examples of Marco's craftsmanship at the showroom at Secret Garden Statuary, Inc. Secret Garden Statuary/Lucioni Arts commit themselves to superior quality and customer service. We take pride in a job well done, and in treating each customer as our best.
